To have a beautiful hair we must take care of it and have the special methods to protect hair from the bad effects of environment ,especially, under the hot weather in the summer. Summer sun and the summer moisture could be damaging to your hair. Effective preventative steps need to be taken during this season to make sure that your hair does not get damaged.
These are summer hair care tips to protect your hair:
Wear hat, a scarf or cap to cover your hair from the sun but ensure that it’s not so tight.
Use a protective sunscreen for your hair before you go out if you know you are going to be in the sun for a long time and you wouldn’t like to wear anything on your head.
If you are outdoors and forgot to use leave in conditioner with sunscreen in your hair, you can use regular sunscreen instead, but ensure that you wash it out with a deep cleansing shampoo when you are home.
Reduce your use of “hot” items on your hair such as a curling irons and blow dryers. If you need to use them, use a leave in conditioner prior to working with the item on your hair.
Avoid having hot showers or cleaning your hair in hot water. Use warm or cool water instead; your hair and skin can be dried out or damaged by the heat.
Remaining hydrated is essential for healthy hair as well as your overall health so make sure that you provide enough water for your body everyday.
Avoid using hair products containing formaldehyde or alcohol in it, which dry out hair. Had better to use natural products that are gentler on your hair.
Do not wash hair too often; shampooing your hair strips, the moisture out of your hair that makes your hair dried and split ends.
Daily use a conditioner on your hair.
Consider to use a dry shampoo if you must wash out your hair. One dry shampoo you may use is baby powder, simply sprinkle some onto your hair and use a comb to comb it off.

Before going into the pool or ocean wet your hair, this will minimize the intake of chlorinated/salt water into your hair.
Use a deep cleaning shampoo after swimming to clean out the chlorine/salt and any residues that could be in your hair. Chlorine will seriously dry out your hair if it is not rinsed out.
