Natural Remedy to Get Rid of Acne

There are different methods to deal with acne. Using medication following a skin specialis prescription is a way to cure acne but you can also try some home remedy by using natural method. It is also very effective, especially, it has many benefits such as less time consuming, less costy and no side effects. It only needs a little more patience. A natural remedy for acne may have effects as medication.

Here are a few natural remedies to cure your acne.

Water – your daily intake of water should be minimum of eight to ten glasses. This allows us to detoxicate our system and wipe out harmful bacteria that trigger acne. Eating too much of oily food also leads to acne, so fried and spicy food should be strictly avoided. chromium in your diet also helps to cure acne as well. There should be a combination of right nutritional balance and good skin care.

Hot/Cold Compresses – A chief natural remedy that is recommended more often than not is using hot and cold wet towel compresses to decrease swelling and remove clogged pores–the major culprit in the production of acne.

Cucumber juice – This method is commonly used at home, Cucumber juices can be used either alone or mixed with carrot juice, alfalfa or lettuce.

Distilled white vinegar – Use the vinegar as a topical solution, put it on the infected area for at least 5-10 minutes. Then using cool water to rinse it thoroughly. Frequently, the vinegar can be a little too strong so it is recommended that it should be diluted, though not too much.

You should avoid making up when suffering from acne. Makeup can make the acne problems even worse. Acne should never be squeezed because it may spread and become worse. Squeezing your it may also cause permanent mark on your skin, which make your skin look ugly. Avoid your hair to touch the acne-affected area. Hair should be kept tied to avoid contact with it. Washing your pillow on daily basis to avoid the germ to spread. Regular cleansing of your skin should be done to keep it free from germs.

Besides all these a healthy lifestyle should be followed, with proper balance of food, exercise and sleep.
