Organic foods is nutritious, safe, healthy food choice

The 21st century is the regime supporting for organic foods and go green. Many parts in the world are planning for organic farms to promote enviromentally friendly planting campaign. The reason is not stopped at environment protection but for healthier life of human beings.

Eating well is at its right meaning when we know what foods ( fruits, vegetables, whole grains and good fats) to consume and how that foods are grown or raised. The motivation of a heathier, better food choice urges us to go more organic foods.

Vegetables that are labelled as “organic” are safer as must be grown in safe soil, have no modifications and must remain separate from conventional products. During the growing period, farmers are not allowed to use synthetic pesticides, bioengineered genes (GMOs), petroleum-based fertilizers and sewage sludge-based fertilizers. When no chemicals are widely used in growing vegetables, foods are safer to eat. One more benefit to go organic foods is environmentally-friendly. Organic farming practices reduce pollution (air, water, soil), conserve water, reduce soil erosion, increase soil fertility, and use less energy. The world are calling for saving our earth out of risk of climate change and warming global, there is no reason to say “no” with more organic farms, more green.

Organic livestocks must have access to the outdoors and be given organic feed. They may not be given antibiotics, growth hormones, or any animal-by-products. When shopping for foods, notice at the label that clearly points out “100% organic or organic or made with organic ingredients and so on.

When it comes to comparision of nutrition, safety, and price between conventional (non-organic) foods and organic foods, there are some real differences easy to checked out. Organic foods, of course, is totally safer than its traditionally grown counterparts because they are taken  care with natural fertilizers, such as manure or compost, to feed soil and plants.

As a wonder of whether organic or non organic is more nutritious, even though the answer is still not clear yet, the reason to prefer organic to conventional foods lies more on its health benefits, not on its price. The choice to add organic foods to your diet may cost a bit more money, but for that higher price, you are buying the reassurance that you’re making healthy decisions for our own health and your family’s health.
